    That’s interesting Dan.

    When talking about legitimacy, which is crucial, it is well to remember that it pendulums back and forth. Sometimes strong; others barely noticeable. What you say about Govt. intervention leading to improved conditions all round is good news. But,perhaps for obvious reasons, you do not mention Govt. intervention in terms of human rights and democracy (another pendulum) which often seem to be a corollary of the good achieved by intervention…especially in underdeveloped countries.
